Lullwater Review
Andrew DeBenedictis, Poetry Editor
Box 22036
Emory University
Atlanta, GA 30322
Dear Andrew DeBenedictis:
I have been an avid reader of Lullwater Review for years. Your publication is a constant source of
inspiration. It is chiefly for this reason I am submitting my poetry for consideration to Lullwater Review. I
have enclosed five of my most recent, unpublished poems: “Butterfly Dancing,” “Full Circle,” “Tetrad of
Sonnets One: Passion,” “Tetrad of Sonnets Two: Hands” “The Murder of Ravens,” and “Wild Orchid.”
Born in Puerto Rico, I moved to New York City with my family when I was a child. I grew up in the South
Bronx, one of eleven children. I received a B.A. in Health Care Administration and Management while in
the United States Air Force, and later a B.S. in Pharmacy. Pharmacy is my profession but poetry is my
passion.
Thank you so much for your time. You need not return my work, but I do look forward to hearing from you.
As such, I have included a stamped, self-addressed envelope for your response.
Sincerely
Eddie Morales
